The Veronica L. Sacco Foundation Provides Safety and Support For the Women and Children Who Are Victims of Domestic Abuse
Our mission is to empower women and children to rebuild their lives and heal from the trauma of domestic abuse and sexual assault. The Veronica L. Sacco Foundation strives to create pathways out of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness by educating and empowering families to achieve safe and stable lives free of the fear of abuse. Our vision is to see all women and children "Survive and Thrive" without fear.
What Is Domestic Abuse?
Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, monetary, or psychological actions or threats to influence another person. This includes any behaviors that manipulates, intimidates, humiliates, isolates, frightens, terrorizes coerces, threatens, blames, hurts, injures, or wounds someone.

The Veronica L Sacco Foundation, Inc is a tax exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). The Foundation is also authorized to accept tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106 or 2522.
